Who I am
A deeply entrenched love of architecture and design forms the basis of my artistic pursuits.
My initial medium for artistic creativity was realised in the form of ceramics. I completed a degree in ceramic’s at the University of Westminster, following which I exhibited a variety of ceramic installations that focused thematically on mans inhumanity to man.
I reached my potential in the vein of Ceramics and began to search for a new channel for art; this was fulfilled in acrylic paintings. Evolving from organic doodling to large scale detailed design and construction. I used cityscapes and global art as inspiration for my work.
The culmination of my inspiration is seen in vivid Urbanscapes, revealing unique personalities manifested as global skyscrapers. Gatherings of buildings, each with their own distinctive disposition. Far more than bricks and mortar, each housing a diverse and colourful community. The buildings accept one another, despite their physical differences. They talk, they love, they laugh; they are inspiration for humanity.
